I slept in a little, Julie slept in a lot. Unfortunately, neither of us remembered to take pictures, or get Nina's from her. So, I'm afraid you'll have to use a little imagination on this one.
Today was my turn to cook dinner. Nina drove me to the store, where I got all the ingredients for hoisin chicken over rice noodles, and Thai pickles.
Back home, we set to chopping and prepping everything for our trip to the "cabin".
A friend of their's owns a place in the woods, complete with sauna, hot tub, and massage chairs.
After a short drive, deep into the forrest, we arrived at a charming little compound, two cabins, with a giant hot tub in the middle.
Inside, we ran around looking at everything and testing it all out.
I got to work on dinner in the tiny, yet well equipped, kitchen.
Suddenly, there was a beer in my hand, and it managed to stay there all night.
We ate and drank to our heart's content, and my liver's dismay.
Then into the tub, after a quick shower of course.
We jumped from tub, to sauna, to massage chair. Okay, Julie got in a massage chair, and stayed.
The kids stayed in the hot tub for hours. The most amazing thing was that none of them had to get out and pee, even after 6 liters of soda.
Later, we sat on the couch and watched Big Fish. Wow, another great evening.
